Cisco host and celebrate every year the Women of Impact Conference. We celebrate every year the inclusion and diversity of our strong leadership and workforce at Cisco. The goal of this conference is to promote and help our talents to discover how they can build the bridge between our career aspirations and our career reality.
At Cisco Inclusion and Collaboration (I&C) are fundamental to understand who we are as a company and where we are going. Cisco see inclusion as a bridge, a way to connect diverse perspectives to spark new ideas, explore new possibilities, and inspire innovation.
True collaboration, true leadership, and true success are possible only when we value and embrace a full spectrum of diversity, gender, generation, race, ethnicity, orientation, ability, nationality, religion, veteran status, background, culture, experience, strengths, and perspectives.
Women of Impact 2019 Conference was celebrated on March 5th and last year over 15,000 Cisco employees, partners, and customers attended the conference in over 100 sites across 52 countries and our goal was to break and increase those numbers this year.
Also, this year myself and 5 other Cisco Ambassadors had the awesome opportunity to be part of the Women of Impact 2019 Live Chat #WOI2019 celebrated on March 4th, 2019 to talk about passion projects we promote at Cisco.
I was shocked and inspired by all the speaker’s testimonies that were part of the Live Chat panel. Stephanie Chan is an awesome moderator and she did a great job asking and taking very important question from the audience and to the speakers. Each of the speakers shared different point of views, passions, projects and career advice and I was able to share my experience with Cisco Time2Give program, Habitat for Humanity, Girls Power Tech Day and Cisco Networking Academy.
It was very awesome and super impressive to heard from each of our Cisco employees how they have done great things to help others, give back and follow their passion and dreams on different ways to build bridges.
