About Rafael Ceara

I was born and raised in the Caribbean, Dominican Republic. My native language is Spanish and my 2nd language is English.

As a person I’m very social and like to establish and build relationships. I love to meet with people. That’s why I enjoy connecting with every person I meet to make new friends.

I love the high tech industry and that’s what I do for living but I recently discovered that my biggest passion and motivation is to give back to others and the community.

Sometimes we live in our own professional/work climate and forget about the most important thing in life: Serve God, Provide help, support and care for those that are in real need. For me that is very important and it has become part of my life.

My personality at work: I’m a customer-centric and team player that’s always open to help and support my customers, partners and team members. I like to always take a fun and enjoyable approach when it comes to work. You should love your work and put the maximum effort towards smart goals you would like to accomplish.

Regarding my professional career, I have been working as a Telecom/Network/Architect Engineer for more than 22 years in the design, implementation, configuration and troubleshooting of IP and Mobility Packet Core Networks.

I have a big devotion for trending and new technologies but I spend more of my time around Data Center & Cloud, Routing & Switching, Wireless, Security, NetOps, Programmability and Service Provider IP/ISP back-haul environment. Most of my work experience comes from Enterprise and different telecom operators (Orange Dominicana – France Telecom Group, DgTec, T-Mobile, and AT&T USA/Mexico).

My family is my biggest treasure and when I’m not busy at work I spend most of the time with my beautiful wife and kids! 🙂
